WHEN BEANIE MET .....

Well the sim is closing and what a way to close than for the OQF owners to meet. When the six of us set out to do this it was about fun and friendship; had Jami and Wendy not been transatlantic they too would of been sat at our table drinking porn star martinis.

I can't even tell you how it happened but before you knew it a date was set. From that moment I felt slightly nauseous. I am not one for sentiment as you know readers but in essence I wanted them to like me. Pixels are pixels but those people we meet in SL as you grow close are a true reflection of the RL us. In principle I think I am liked in SL but RL is a another ball game.

So the day came when I had to stand at the rail station and wait for Evie. I saw about 5 Evies I thought. I have done blind dates with less nerves. I wore a red flower not as intention to be spotted well but because I am as girlie as SL. I was in a poppy skirt and the obligatory red shoes and there she was. We don't do hugs so it was a hiya and no eye contact. I just giggled all the way to the hotel. Then it was like we had always been friends. I see a different side to Evie more vulnerable if I wouldn't of married the chick, she was everything I hoped for chatty and well just my Evie. The hotel room said it all. Two chairs looking at a wall just fit for an Eric and Ernie sketch. Sitting in them drinking a bottle of wine and not even taking a breath as each breath would of replaced a word and that would of been a waste of a conversation! Those chairs were representative of sitting on the perch in OQF, where we would put the world to rights. Although in the middle of the night a screech from Evie "Eric is trapping my duvet" was somewhat disturbing, ha.

Then we went to meet Sam and Stav. We were late as I got lost as I am an exceptional halfwit and I wander; and I wandered one too many corners off the beaten track. Sam is too delightful for words. Cute as a button and as sweet as a sugary thingy. She is much more affectionate and welcomed us with open arms and a kiss. Stav of course wasn't there as like SL he would be late for his own funeral. That gave us chicks girl time and gossip. Sorry readers, not sharing!

Stav arrived and just like a sim meeting couldn't get a word in edge ways. He is gentle and kind and let us get on with it. When he spoke it was odd as I expected him to be spinning DJ requests. I constrained myself asking for Florence and the Machine.

It would of been easy to forget how we met as it was like we had known each other forever. Then in a bar it then reminded me of how we met. I felt I was sitting in Hyde. Random people standing around having fun then there he was. It was as though I had ordered a noob to commemorate our get together. There was no designated dancing spot but he was going hell for leather stuck in the same animation. He could definitely cover floor space quickly; had I known I would of hired him to wax on and wax off my wooden floors. The thing that just shouted noob was the back pack. There he was in a dancing animation with a back pack. He didn't ask for sex or a job but he was the epitome of those we set out to friend in SL as they start there journey. I don't think we were pissed enough to join in but the thought was there.

The night went on with cocktails, dancing, a jar of soy sauce up my leg and it was fun we all get on. I am sure we always will irrespective of what lies ahead.

When I started SL I didn't get it, if I am honest I still don't get it at times. However meeting the 3 people that I started a sim adventure with well it was truly lovely. For me I enjoyed their company and they were everything I hoped they would be. You will have to ask them what they thought of me, I have no doubt they think I am weird as they watched me keep putting money in a street entertainers box. One of those that stand for hours like a statue but smile when you pay them. As he blew a kiss every time he earned money, I thought aww that's just beautiful. Yes I am a halfwit but I don't care and after this weekend my name is still Beanie and not changed to Neveragain Resident.

Wear as much or as little as you want - just come and hang out and help us say goodbye to our lovely little sim

Click the links below each for a landmark or watch the OQF group inworld for a reminder

Finally I would like to extend a massive thanks to Kyl Donogal for all his help in the sim and also in arranging this event.

Sad news for One Quarter French

The owners of the One Quarter French sim yesterday had to make the sad announcement that the sim was going to be closing.

When we first sat down all those months ago to decide what we were going to do and what (most importantly) we all wanted out of 'our sim' the general consensus was FUN. We didn't want to make piles of lindens or own an estate of sims.

We wanted somewhere relaxing, enjoyable and welcoming - and well, I believe we achieved that

However times move on and situations change - and some of the team found they were unable to be online as much due to their RL situation - and real life has always and will always be the most important thing of all.

I hope you will continue to follow this blog and that we will see you all around the grid still - I for one am moving back again to concentrate more on my voluntary work and of course being a big screen star.

So the curtain will fall on the sim but the main thing is - the friendships that started it all off still remain and actually have developed further - watch this space for an article on THAT to follow from Ickle Miss Beanie!!

So not goodbye - more like a bientôt!

Doctor Noob Premiere

Saturday in One Quarter French saw the Premiere of the much awaited SL film epic from BS Productions - Dr Noob.

This took Bunky Snowbear and myself about 7 weekends to film (him living upside down for some bizarre reason) and as almost the most fun I have ever had in SL to date.

Le Baiser Rouge was decorated with the customary red carpet and velvet ropes to hold back the paparazzi. Popcorn was fetched, gestures were muted and web wombats were kicked into action and so the show began.

A slightly green and sick looking Bunky waited with bated breath to get the crowds response...and phew they loved it.

The favourite scene was unanimously agreed to be 'the lift scene' and so the after-show party began

Fans queued up to have their photo taken with the star of the show James007 Resident aka Bunky and the paparazzi broke free and cameras flashed all over

Some photos for you of the fun...

Evie & Bunky wait nervously for the crowds

Evie in front of the big screen

Bunky & Evie pose for the paparazzi

One of the stars, Dana has her photo taken with Bunky

Bunky passes out with the pressure of stardom...or maybe one too many Martinis

Alec finally gets his photo taken with the star after a four hour queue and a flask of Bovril

If you missed out on the day then no panic - the full film will be up on Vimeo for another week

My definition......

love (luv) noun

deep and tender feeling of affection for or attachment or devotion to a person or persons

Love is.... a short word...over in but a moment. Almost said before the meaning is computed. How do you define it?

Well me - I define it very carefully. I think it is a vastly over used yet undervalued word. How many times a day is it said out of habit or expectation rather than true meaning and feeling?

I tend to be judged as being cold, heartless, frosty - I know I have had them all said. I say this isn't true. I just hold my love, affection and adoration in a very closely guarded place and I only show it when I believe it is truly meant and deserved. I don't flutter it around me like losing tickets at the Grand National. But then, when I freely give it to someone- don't you think it means so much more?

Love for me is more than a word. Its loving someone despite their smelly socks, curry breath or morning fart habit. Its seeing the bad side and adoring them anyway. This is why Second Life love is so hard for me to understand...in there we only get the good bits so how can love be tested to be true?

That brings me onto my next subject....

com·mit·ment (-mənt) noun

a pledge or promise to do something

In order to love someone you have to be committed to them. But again - this seems to be something that is promised frequently and broken as often.

For me being committed to something or someone is putting the needs of that person or that task at the top of our list. Its something else that seems to have been lost in the throwaway society we live in. More frequently it's more like 'I am totally committed to you (unless it's too much hassle for me then I will go pick up some noob at a sex beach and pixel pork her)'

Often in Second Life I think people fall back on the notion that 'It's just a game don't take it so seriously' notion when they want to back out of a commitment. For me ...it's only a game insofar as it's a crap load of fun. Otherwise every person is a human and has feelings and will be hurt when they are let down. So in my view...well I don't commit to anything I don't mean and fully intend to stick to.

Of course I know my views on love and commitment are not necessarily the SLers norm...I have to admit to feeling a bit of a freak on occasion...in fact I often worry its leading me towards another definition of the word...

v. com·mit·ted, com·mit·ting, com·mits

To place officially in confinement or custody, as in a mental health facility.

Now thats more like me!! Fancy the share of a cuddle coat anyone?

RETURN OF THE OOMPA LUMPA

Well it will take me approximately an hour longer than what it should do to write this blog as I can guarantee I will of had to get up and ping my router roughly 15 times. Thinking positively at least I am exercising!! (I think that might be what psychiatrists call delusional)

Above is (pictured centre) Arse the ring leader who is interfering with my Internet and the other two (right) Bollocks Brain and (left) Halfwit, the ones that make up the triplets affectionately known as Telecoms.

I was lulled into a false sense of security with a couple of months of blissful Internet but now I have vanished once again. I can only be seen as a distant cloud typing random "g's" in local just to check I am actually online.

I am offering bribes to the engineer from beer, french fancies perhaps stuff you can get from 0898 numbers..to my American friends think dodgy phone lines that require you to sell a kidney to pay the bill.

Not having the Internet is making me discover new things like I have too many cobwebs on my ceiling, that I need to water my bamboo plant, and that tele really is rubbish.

However I did decide to manicure my trotters yesterday and sat with a face pack on whilst reciting new words that could be entered into a profanisaurus all preceded by the word Internet. I would divulge an example but I am already in fear that I may be in breach of profanity by referring to an oompa lumpa as Bollocks Brain.

I am frustrated that I can't get online but it is making me actually think about using my time constructively. Sometimes readers don't you think the minute you click your SL icon that time just seems to run away with itself? I am not castigating our love of bandwidth but have you actually dusted down your own cobwebs and treated yourself to a trotter makeover whilst shoving licorice allsorts in your gob. For a short interlude its not really that bad and once you have Columbo on well its excitement all the way!

Yes I am perhaps a glass half full girlie but all the shouting in the world won't fix me and I have an engineer that is as equally fed up with my fault as he arduously tries to fix it. So patience is apparently a virtue and as I work in health maybe its something that is inherent of me. (Although my dental hygienist has a look of Hannibal Lecter when scaling and polishing) .

I suppose what I am rabbiting on about is you won't catch me online whilst broken but I will return as chirpy as I left with lovely manicured trotters.

Being broken enforces me to dust off my Columbo box sets and that can't be half bad! (OK shurrup I am trying to keep a sunny disposition)

Note to Sister Cathy apologies for swear words but I have actually said more bedtime prayers whilst being cut off (and that's the truth)

My Daddy

'He didn't tell me how to live; he lived, and let me watch him do it'
Clarence Buddinton Kelland

When I was 4 my Daddy was a mystical person I only saw for half an hour a day who would alternately praise or scold me depending on my days behaviour.

By 8 he had become the focus of my world - and mostly our fights were over who exactly was meant to be looking after who.

By 14 he was the force stopping me from doing what I should be allowed to - it just wasn't FAIR!! And occasionally the person tidying up after my rebellious messes.

At 18 he was the one I suddenly realised actually might know a thing or two about life.

By 21 he was the example I used to show me how to live my life and the one thing I knew had shaped me into who I was.

By 24 my Daddy was the one thing I thought I could never live without and somehow had to learn how to.

And by my mid 30's he is the one person I would choose to be able to see. touch. hug and most of all be scolded by again.

I count myself lucky enough to have had such an amazing Dad for the time I did - and I know some people are not so lucky.

In just a couple of weeks time its Fathers Day. Not a day to buy an extortionate card or a pair of socks just because you have to. Should you be as lucky as I was, it's a day to feel and show your gratitude and appreciation for the wonderful job your Daddy has done. I will be doing the same.

My Rezz Day Party!!

Friday 20th May marked 2 years since I joined this crazy world....and well, I like to think I have made certain advances. OK I still zap myself across sim unexpectedly....take my skirt off with little warning and well my typing abilities are non-existent - but I at least consistently have hair (too much the wife may complain)

So on Saturday to mark the occasion my lovely fellow Frenchies organised a part-surprise party. The surprise being I found out when and where 2 minutes after the start.

Bean had sent loads of invitations winging their way to various mental asylums, and Sam and Stav had decorated the Whirling Dervish with various embarrassing photos I didn't know they had - and so the party began

Stav played an Evie mix of Chas & Dave, The Wurzels as well as some less popular hits and Fibi was hosting in her usual inimitable style - with extra cake in the mix for 'Light' & 'Blow' fun. Good job I am an expert at blowing *cough*

Wills got a hug from yours truly....Stew danced under the floor.....Kyl survived the Rapture....a successful night for all!

le Success!!

After 2 long weeks of trying to keep the re-design of the Whirling Dervish under wraps, The staff at One Quarter French were very pleased to unveil the new look and welcomed all their friends and new comers to the Grand Re-opening of the hottest new club on the sim! Having tirelessly tried to keep the progress secret, Stavros Jolbey and Samanda Renfold were thrilled, and even a little excited, to finally open the doors at 1PM SL on Saturday 14th May and were so pleased to watch all the 'VERY IMAGINATIVE' avi's stream in hearing ohhh'ing and ahhhh'ing from all.

The Party kicked off with DJ Stavros playing the latest club tunes and the party goers, which included a cupcake, pea, carrot, hippo, monkey, naked guy, some weird kind of bird, Prozac bottle, ladybird and pink dragon looking thing, to mention just a few started to party hard.

The Whirling Dervish now boasts a very new high tech look and feel, with neon lights and state of the art dance machines. We will be holding foam parties, bubble parties and just about any kind of themed party you could imagine. Now included in the club are advertising boards which, if you get there quick enough, you could place your ad up and be sure to be seen by all those that will be frequenting the club.

A competition for Most Fab Imaginative Avi was held and this was won by Tegan Emerald, (The very very cute Hippo), Daytona Coba (the fox with the tie) and Nasty (the weird looking bird) and $500L was split by a three way tie.

The sploder went red hot and at one stage was loaded with over $1000L and a few party goers left the Dervish with their virtual wallets a lot fuller than when they had come in.

The Prozac bottle DJ and the warrior Elf kept the music and the chat going till late into the night and the grand re-opening of the Whirling Dervish was determined to be a huge success. We look forward to having more of the same club parties each and every week and cannot wait to see you all again. Thank you to everyone who came and made this night the huge success that it was.

Luau Street Party at the Cafe du Monde!

You are formally invited to a Street Party, brought to you by DJ Aarons, Host Eva, and the rest of the Cafe du Monde staff!

5-8 pm SLT with 200L on the board for best in beachwear and 2100L in prizes

Simply Blue...

It amazes me sometimes how the simple things can be the most successful.  I have wanted to go "all out" with the cafe... themes which inter-played decor, music, and people... and yesterday found myself tuckered out and so just went with your basic Best in Blue competition.

Can I just say "Wow?"  DJ Noelle Magne made her debut and we had a fabulous (and steady) crowd all evening long. Her tunes were dead on and her mic voice was as smooth as silk. I kept the decor simple, but on a midnight setting in our already lovely cafe it was simply stunning.

Here are a few highlighted pics:

See you there!

GI's & Pin-Ups at Le Baiser Rouge

Friday night at Le Baiser Rouge saw the amazing Eva Adored transform the venue into A GI army camp complete with morale building Pin Ups. There was 200L on the board with an extra 300L donated by the always generous Wills Wozniak for the Best in GI's & Pin Ups

Needless to say we twirled and we twittered and had a wonderful night with Eva Adored sending out fabulous tune after tune

Below are some snaps from the night

Moo & Wills danced all night

Bonky couldn't be with us so left his rather wooden replacement to twirl with Evie

The Royal Wedding at the Whirling Dervish

There is nothing like a good old Royal Wedding to get me in a party mood, and we felt it fitting to bring a little bit of the pomp and ceremony that has been celebrated in London (and the rest of the world) into New Orleans One Quarter French in SL and so we held our very own Royal Wedding at the Whirling Dervish last night. The invites went out to all Kings and Queens, princes and princesses, brides and grooms and the Dervish was transformed into a sea of white with beautiful dresses swishing back and forth.

It was truly a site to behold as one by one, the beautiful brides, princesses, dapper looking princes in their full military regalia and grooms arrived.

The competition board was opened and the Most Fabulous Royal Avatar was sought and $500L was won by our dapper looking Prince, Kyl Donogal, who wowed all the girls in his military uniform complete with hat and gloves. At one point he did try to leave, but one bride and one princess, who shall remain anonymous, grabbed onto his thighs and wouldn't let him go.

DJ and manager of the Dervish, Stavros Jolbey played music for the masses while his host, Princess Leia took excellent care of all the guests, passing champagne around the celebrate the occasion.

One of the guests who attended the party did so 2 hours before she was actually getting married in SL. She was a bag of nerves and fretted that the groom hadn't logged on yet. I do hope she managed to calm down and that the wedding went off without a hitch. This writer was also treated to a dance with a very smart looking fox and enjoyed a twirl on top of the DJ box with Daytona Coba.

The Whirling Dervish is now closed for refurbishment so do keep watch both here and in SL when we let you know that we are back open for business. We will be holding a massive opening party and invites will be sent out. We look forward to seeing the new, funky, New Orleans One Quarter French own night club.

Thank you to all who attended and I'm sure you all had as much fun as I did.

Bonfire at Cafe du Monde

Tuesday Night at Cafe du Monde's Bonfire Street Party will be one to be remembered for quite some time.

The beautiful and talented DoctorEva Adored set the stage with her decorations, Aarons Resident DJed and set off fireworks and 2,550 Linden worth of gift cards were given out over the course of three hours.

New faces and "regulars" alike came to wish Jami Titanium a Happy Rezz Day, and send their regards to the (absent) Manok Bluxome who was also celebrating his Rezz Day.

Below are some snaps of the fabulous 3 hour event:

Sunrise and My Second Rezz Day

I am sitting in the Cafe du Monde and I have my world set to sunrise because, though I woke this morning at 4 am... I missed the sunrise in real life.

Lately my real life has been a bit dreary... mostly I've been locked up in my office trying to sort out real life work, or the latest family crisis that has arisen with my 9 year-old daughter who seems determined to give me gray hair at the tender age of 32...

And today is my rezz day... two years in Second Life.

It's a bit strange really that I should suddenly choke up... those who know me know that I am not a crier. And mind you, I'm not crying now. It's just a frog in my throat.  Honest.

But you see... I came to the cafe this morning and found something from someone I would have never expected.  And truly I was stunned and yes, humbled.

There are moments when we think the world is against us and no one loves us. It is human nature I suppose to think in such selfish and vain terms.  Everything simply seems to go "wrong" and Fate and her wheel have turned you under into the canal.

Evie and I have locked horns. More than once. However, I have always respected and admired her. She is smart, she works hard, and she speaks her mind.  If I am honest, I have often envied her wit and lack of fear in dealing with others.  She epitomizes many of the things I have wished to be... and do not always think I am.  There are many days I have thought she hated me.  Which was maybe why it hurt so much to admire her.

And yet I sit here in my cafe... completely stunned by her show of kindness and generosity.  She wrote a poem for me... even remembering how important and symbolic dragonflies are and have always been to me.  And she has put up pictures of some of my favorite memories.

At this point, I can't write much more.  Kindness like this often blows me away, simply because it is so foreign to me in my life...  But perhaps it is not as foreign as I have always thought.  Perhaps, it is just that I have been too busy "faking" a smile and a light heart to see that I'm not alone.

WHAT A CRACKING EASTER!!!

Sunday presented One Quarter French with one of the fabbest Second Life days ever. Easter means many things for many people and here in OQF we catered for all.

For some, the Easter day started with a prayer in the St. Louis Cathedral.  For many, Easter is about the Resurrection of Christ and this was duly noted in the cathedral.

For readers they will be aware of Beanie's neon Jesus who I know looks a touch like Noel Edmonds. However for me, the sentiment is there and Sunday signified the end of Lent, something which was very important to me.

The festivities continued with the Great Grid Wide Easter Egg hunt which brought many a hunter a rummaging and a foraging. Don't worry readers, the hunt continues till next Saturday... so there is still chance to get some fabulous prizes.

One of the highlights was the amazing bike ride. Poor Evie couldn't breathe with Wills suffocating her with his Easter chocolate balls... coughs eggs! The beautiful Moo and athletic Marshall provided counter weight gloriously for those tricky turns. Me well I did a solo Mexican wave whilst looking like I was trying to lick a window. Also featured was new resident Tuc sporting the red bull box...running behind to the dulcet echos of "Run Forrest Run". The video clip below demonstrates it in fabulous technicolour courtesy Of Wills Wozniak.

The fun continued with a beautiful dance at Le Baiser Rouge, where ladies were twirled in their finery. DJ Aarons as kind and as obliging as ever played those soppy tunes you just know you needed a tissue for. Lovely Alice one of our newest residents won the best in Easter competition and we all wish her a hearty congratulations.

The Cafe du Monde followed up the events as Le Baiser with a Best in Playboy Bunneh competition from 5-8 pm SLT.  There were plenty of sexy bunnehs and Marshall bared his legs in true Hef style with a smokey, burgandy robe. All in all it was a lovely three hours of fabulous music from DJ Song.

I loved my time spent in Second Life this weekend. I made new friendships and enjoyed the reality of how One Quarter French can be fun. I would also like to thank Billy Arentire who guided me in the Easter Egg hunt.

A Few Thoughts on Spirit

I am not a religious person.  In fact, the sight of a church nearly brings me to my knees with nausea.  There are many reasons for this... most of which don't matter.  I have not stepped inside a church since I was a teenager.  Even my wedding happened outdoors... in a park.

And yet, I have been told that I am spiritual. And if I am honest, I cannot disagree.
One definition of "spiritual" is:  of, relating to, consisting of, or having the nature of spirit; not tangible or material.

And that is perhaps descriptive of me.  Material things are of little value to me.  They become dust with time.  It experiences and people I value.

In the last 11 years, I've been a teacher and a mother and a wife.  I know I have touched lives.  I've watched my students grow up, graduate, and have children of their own.  The greatest honor that could ever have been given me were the numerous invitations to weddings and baby showers I've gotten over the years from men and women whom I knew as awkward high school teenagers, who have now become successful adults... who remember me... and say I touched their lives.

I know I will leave a legacy behind.  And it will not be my house, or my car, or my money.  It will be my spirit... my essence, my spirituality.

I am standing inside the St. Louis Cathedral at One Quarter French.  It is the closest I imagine I will ever again come to being "inside" a church unless someone holds my funeral in one.

I lit a candle.  It is for you.  And me. And all the lives we touch.

The extraordinary world of SL

I was supposed to be writing this blog last night but I was having too much fun, I forgot. So here it is readers belated but hopefully still a source of amusement. A long time ago I wrote an article for this blog explaining the reason I stay in second life is because of the people, not the av's but those behind the av's. It's my commitment to them that makes me not want to quit, despite sometimes wanting to. Real life and second life does co-mingle because we allow people to see our personalities. For some we say we don't mix them but when I log; Beanie is every bit of who I am real life. That av projects how I laugh, how I get upset and more importantly how I relate to people. I afford the same pleasantries to SL as I do in my RL. Yesterday was one of my most funniest days and also one of my most saddest as I lost someone because we bicker. To bicker with someone essentially means for me I cared, but we all move on. Its been nearly one year since Evie and I tied the companionship knot and I have to say she never bores me because well we were crafted from the same mould. Sam, Evie and I now share a quaint sky box and its been without hilarity so far. That was until Evie thought a 60 linden enchanted wood was a good investment..... For those who know me they know I like to click, and I mean click anything. I can't help it, I am the original "I wonder what will happen if I press this 'do not touch' red button?" So here I was presented with two menus PG or adult, well I am also a double darer and before I knew it I was doing the double choc throat in all its glory. Its childish I know but it amused me. This delightful menu was being pressed by Evie as she said "ohh Beanie listen she slipped off the chair because she was too juicy". We enrolled two unsuspecting male friends who will remain nameless to preserve their dignity so we could try "groups". Its very clear why Evie and I are bound by friendship because watching her rotate all 4 of us, just made me laugh harder. SL is all about laughing and not taking ourselves seriously, how else could we advise our friend whether a tail or a bulge in his fireman pants looked better. The problem with laughing is that it can become infectious so unfortunately we refrained from professionalism when we went to our club The Whirling Dervish. Then it began "Grab a Gerald night". Sam got to work stalking random Gerald's from search only to find one who kindly agreed to come to our club. Sporting only an erection he teleported in. Giggling school laughter set in which I know is still childish but listening to Sam on voice trying to explain her actions was even funnier. Then Geoff arrived not sure if he forgot he was on a penis chain but who cares he was amusing too. They were good sports trying to decipher our conversations on voice whilst laughing. They in turn teleported two lovely ladies in. That's the great thing about SL, people generally are up for conversation irrespective of who you are. Race, culture, religion doesn't come into it. Its just one big oral feast. It was a very eventful club night as our beautiful host gave out premature Easter bunnies and our at one with nature visitors brightened the evening. Pictures were taken but without consent I can't publish them (honest reason I am currently in conversation with the top shelf magazine Razzle, they want exclusivity on penis chains and bewilderment). All I can say is look out Percy's you are next as Sam organises our future Whirling event of "Pinch a Percy". Clothes optional, sense of humour a must.

Return of the Bean

Well I am not sure if its a fluke but I managed to stay logged for a full 4 hours. The oompa lumpa is now in the hands of the authorities for being a nuisance. Its been 3 months since I was last with sight but I have to say with hindsight it wasn't so bad. Communication impaired by sight is difficult, yes, but its still communication. I appreciated everyone taking the time to be patient with me especially Evie, my own labradoodle. Aarons decided to have a Beanie night at the Whirling Dervish, where I could pick any song I wanted. I was cautious not to pick I used to love her but I had to kill her for Evie so relied on count on me by Bruno Mars. A song that reflects our friendship. I had my first twirl with Bradley Verino but I cocked up the request by selecting a song about how this bloke hates this girl for stalking him. Well yup dork brain beanie is back with constant "I'm lost" statements in local. So its business as usual!

How did I get fixed well I have no clue all I know it took one of these below for things to improve.

A good old French Fancy. 5 of these down his throat and all was well in Beanie's world. Phew I say! I thought I was going to have to dust off my Karma Sutra.

So I will be frequenting One Quarter French again and fortunately for Evie doing my own Beanie Booth. I am not sure she could cope with the perils of gonorrhoea.

Thanks once again for all your advice chickadees.

BEANIE BOOTH -APRIL'S TOPIC

So one month in the Beanie Booth and it seems to be valued. I have received IM's from people saying "thanks I felt my bits and they feel great." Well embrace your beautiful willies, testicles and boobs and enjoy. April's topic is addressing addiction. This was at the request of a friend. I am sure that addiction has touched all our lives in some shape or form. There are so many things that can be researched for a variety of addictions. I chose alcohol, drugs and the Internet as I felt that these were most likely the compulsions that most of us folks had come across. The purpose of the Booth is not for me to offer my opinion but for you folks to be able to access information to help you with your health. If their is a particular topic that you want me to do please don't hesitate to send me a note card or IM me. Thanks go to the wife Evie, who popped my boards up for me as I remain blind on a text viewer. I think her spell checking was a tad more palatable with no mention of wiggly worms down willies . (Not sure how she will feel about how not to get an STD...).

A Bean a day keeps the psychiatrist away...

Today was a bad day. And when I say bad I mean 'I must have killed a load of kittens in a past life to deserve this never-ending hell' kind of day. So I am home from work, hair standing on end in some freakish half quiff where I have been pulling it out and I decide to get on SL for a bit to relax.

Except, just now, its not quite the same. Because, due to some death-wish oompa loompa with excessive horticultural tendencies I am missing the normal dulcet tones that greet me....'ello wifey hows you chickie?'

Frankly speaking, I miss my beanie. Without her Beavie is just....well its just Evie. And laughing at some stupid joke no one else gets on your own isn't quite the same.

So why....why do we all miss her so much? Well me - she makes me laugh till I cry and sometimes just plain cry. She dedicates songs to me like 'I use to love her but I had to kill her' (still sulking). In nearly a year of fakey wedded bliss she has never failed to make time to listen to my gibberish, give fabulous advice and nip me hard when its needed.

She has an unfailing wish to just help people. She is our resident doctor, psychologist and advice line for almost any issue. The one thing she wanted to put on sim when we opened was the Beanie Booth....guess what - to offer advice on health, emotional, mental and other issues (for those who haven't yet sampled this months advice on feeling your bits to make sure they are dangling proper you are missing out!!)

And I am pretty sure just about everyone one of you folks privileged to be on her contact list feels exactly the same.

And right now she needs a little nuturing...the oompa loompa is off the christmas card list. So take a minute to drop her an offline to say you miss her.
So to sum up. Yes I am capable of feelings (stop the looks of surprise) and I adore my dorkbrain wifey. So if any of you see a furtive oompa loompa with plant food and a watering can send him in my direction. I have a rusty spoon with his name on it.
